Ramany vs Ramany 3.0 Season 3 Episode 9 review: A few funny sequences make the new episode a decent dare

Story: The Ramanys decide to go on a trip with their children when they realize that it's been a long time since they have enjoyed a vacation. The four of them get ready in quick time, pack their bags and are about to leave the home, but suddenly an unexpected guest shows up. His entry not only spoils the family's plan, but also makes them restless because of his conservative and annoying judgmental behaviour. How is the family going to deal with him?

Review: All the episodes of Ramany vs Ramany 3.0 till date were confined to indoors. For the first time, the makers hinted at a possibility of an episode happening outdoors when the Ramanys plan to go for a holiday in the latest instalment. However, director Naga had other plans.

The couple realizes that they have been badly missing a memorable vacation when their children complain about leading a monotonous life for years. They make a sudden plan and decide to take a break from their regular life by traveling for a few days. However, Ramany's (Ramji) uncle makes an unanticipated entry to their home with a plan to stay there for a few days.

With no option left, the four-member family welcomes him and decides to postpone their trip half-heartedly. On top of their king-size disappointment, the uncle's regressive behaviour makes things even worse for them. His unnecessary comparison between Ramany family and his son's family, apart from below the belt criticism of women there tests patience after a point.

The entry of another person in the home brings a few twists and turns, which make the Ramany family happy. Will they be able to get rid of the annoying uncle?  

For the first time in the series, another actor outsmarted Ramji and Vasuki with regard to performance. The couple had little to do this time as a lion's share of the episode had the uncle character stealing the show. He was apt as the irritating uncle who embraces old-fashioned ideas which many viewers could easily relate to.

Ponni and Param did not have much to do. The final revelation, though not a novel idea, was enjoyable. The chemistry Ramji shared with Ponni and Vasuki was one of the prime highlights of the episode.

Verdict: This is another harmless episode which offers a few laughs here and there.
