Pet Puraan trailer: Sai Tamhankar-Lalit Prabhakar become pet parents in this SonyLIV Marathi show but are they ready?

Sai Tamhankar and Lalit Prabhakar’s new web series Pet Puraan’s trailer is here and it is nothing less than fun. The two play a couple in the series who needs a change. In order to find that change, they adopt a pet and the chaos begins.

SonyLIV has introduced the web series and it is light-hearted and relatable. Sai and Lalit have hit that stage in marriage, which everyone does, where they don’t know where to go from that point.

While their characters do not want children, the society forces them to prepare for and have it. As has been told since ages, what better way to prepare for a kid than to adopt a pet? So, they do.

This is one couple that cannot agree on which pet to adopt and so, they bring home two different pets with no prior experience of being a pet parent. Of course, chaos was going to ensue and it did.

Sai is a bomb once again as she boldly talks about private matters in front of people who try to put her down. They have literally gone to the extent of saying that grow a child in Pune if Mumbai has a huge population. While it makes for a fun moment, the real trouble lies in the mentality. Nonetheless, the trailer is enjoyable, at least after the pets enter the couple’s lives.

Meet Renku the doggo and Baku the cat. Being pets, they know how to create mischief while these pet parents have no idea how to handle them. Sai is even heard stating that handling pets is a full-time job and she couldn’t be more correct.

Pets are expensive, always have your divided attention but they make life worth it. This couple also happens to realize that after going through the stage where they feel regret for having adopted a pet, sorry, two pets and those that love destruction. Lalit is heard saying that even a baby would be more affordable than a pet and that is just a laughing matter.

The fun moments between Sai, Baku, Lalit and Renku make up for the best moments in the trailer. It definitely isn’t easy to be a pet parent but is too much fun and the trailer proves that.

This SonyLIV original Marathi show has been helmed by Dnyanesh Zoting. Apart from Marathi, the series will also be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali. It will start streaming on May 6 on Sony LIV.
