Stranger Things 4 trailer: Eleven, Mike, Will, Lucas, Max, Dustin find themselves in the eye of the storm

Nerds rejoice! Stranger Things 4 is gearing up to hit your small screens soon, bringing with it a new set of adventures for our beloved group of Hawkins teens. The trailer for the upcoming fourth season gives us a glimpse of the new menaces our heroes have to fight off.

The trailer opens with an ominous proclamation where a sinister voice is heard saying, ‘You’ve broken everything’ as viewers are taken through a scene of mass destruction. The voice also declares that the ‘suffering is almost at an end’. We get to see glimpses of several of the Hawkins teens, starting with Max, who is seen by the grave of her stepbrother Billy. The rest of the gang, including Mike, Dustin, Steve, Lucas, Eleven and more also feature in the video. Eleven, in particular, is seen in a challenging situation, as she is made a dire proposition. Joyce and Jim too make appearances.

Check out the trailer below:

The upcoming season will also feature Winona Ryder, Brett Gelman, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, Eduardo Franco, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer and Gaten Matarazzo who will reprise their roles from previous seasons. The popular science-fiction drama has also been renewed for a fifth season, which will be its last.

The official synopsis for season 4 reads, “It's been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier.”

The show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, will also produce the upcoming season. Shawn Levy, director of Ryan Reynold starrer movies, Free Guy and The Adam Project, will also be a producer on season 4, along with Dan Cohen, and Iain Paterson.

Stranger Things 4 will consist of two parts. Volume one will be released on Netflix on May 27. Volume two premieres on July 1.
