Here's when the much-awaited trailer of Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Mohan's Don will be released

The movie will have a huge theatrical release on May 13

Debutant filmmaker Cibi Chakaravarthi's Don starring Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Mohan in lead roles is releasing on May 13. Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies has bagged the film's theatrical rights in Tamil Nadu. Sivakarthikeyan Productions has produced the project in association with Lyca Productions.

The actor-producer has now announced that the trailer of Don will be released on May 6. A pre-release event will also be held tomorrow where the much-awaited trailer will be unveiled by the makers. Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the film; three singles from the movie Jalabulajangu Bae and Private Party have been released so far.

SJ Suryah Samuthirakani Sivaangi Balasaravanan Soori and Kaali Venkat among others essay important characters in Don which has Siva playing an engineering student for the first time in his career spanning a decade. According to sources he will also be sporting a teenage look for a few crucial portions in the film.

Priyanka Mohan is joining hands with Siva for the second time after Doctor (streaming on Netflix). Don marks her third outing in Tamil and second release this year after Suriya-starrer Etharkkum Thunindhavan (streaming on Netflix and Sun NXT). KM Bhaskaran and Nagooran have handled the movie's cinematography and editing respectively.

Gautham Menon and Bigg Boss Tamil fame Raju Jeyamohan will be seen essaying crucial cameos in the film which is billed as a comic caper set against a college backdrop. The initial releasing date of Don was announced as March 25. But the makers postponed it when team RRR decided to arrive on the same date.

With no major biggies releasing till June 3 fans of Siva and Kollywood insiders are expecting that Don will set the cash registers ringing if it opens to positive response from critics and moviegoers.
